More mancave

Half of our basement is not  finished.  Just the 3 bedrooms and bathroom at the end of hall. We are just finishing the hallway and the media room you see here.  I told Angi I would have it done in October.... haha,   I refuse to pay someone to do the work.  So far I have framed, electrical wire/lighting/outlets, Heating duct work, canned LED lighting,(utah power has rebates on LED lighting, they paid for half of the lights) they also rebate on insulation, (basically free since me, Ry and Branson installed it). hung 3 doors, Cat5 wired intercom for all rooms in house so Angi can easily yell at us from any room. of course pre-wired for full 7.2 Dolby/DTS surround sound mancave experience.  We have sheetrock coming Friday and hanging Saturday or Monday.   My neighbor is a sheetrocker and he is doing the hanging/taping( I will pay for that!) and we will try to paint and I may have a neighbor contractor help us with finish-work for the computer nook.  We will probably try to lay down some laminate faux wood flooring on our own but we will see.

Branson's accident report...

Sorry I didn't say something in my previous posts.  Bran and his friend Jamison are fine, both had seat belts on, both no problems...  Bran may have a little back pain.    But other than a good scare and dose of reality, all is fine and we are getting the ford back as is and I think I can fix... Bran had a green turn arrow, and the guy in opposing straight thru traffic thought his light was green, but it was the turn arrow for the other side and he left and they collided... cops wrote the guy a ticket... so we will be shopping a cheap kids car and fixing the ford.. hopefully.
